NevTech AI, an AI consulting and implementation firm based in Indianapolis, has unveiled its AI Roadmap program aimed at assisting small and medium-sized businesses in Indiana. As part of this initiative, companies can avail a complimentary 30-minute AI strategy session. These sessions are tailored to help businesses identify three workflows that could be automated, providing insights into potential cost savings and the expenses involved in implementation.
The introduction of the AI Roadmap program comes as many small businesses grapple with the complexities of integrating AI into their operations. A survey conducted by Simply Business in 2026, which included feedback from 1,047 U.S. small business owners, highlighted that 62% are utilizing AI. However, the current focus remains largely on tasks such as email drafting and brainstorming. Key obstacles hindering wider AI adoption include concerns over errors in critical tasks, data security, and uncertainty regarding the initial steps to take.
“Many individuals promoting AI to business owners lack firsthand experience in managing payroll,” remarked Cody Neville, NevTech AI’s founder and CEO. He emphasized that NevTech’s solutions are grounded in real-world applications, having been tested within their own enterprises before being offered to clients. This ensures that when they consult with business owners, they discuss practical workflows rather than theoretical demonstrations.
The company’s method focuses on analyzing existing workflows instead of beginning with a specific software solution. This approach ensures that automation systems are implemented with a human oversight component, especially in areas where errors could impact clients or patients. NevTech also emphasizes the importance of training and supporting businesses post-implementation. As Neville noted, “Most technology projects falter during the rollout, not the coding phase. Completion is achieved when the team effectively uses the software.”
Serving diverse sectors such as food and beverage, healthcare, commercial equipment services, and municipal operations, NevTech designs workflow automation solutions suitable for various business needs. Their services, including an AI receptionist that operates continuously to handle inquiries that might otherwise be missed, are utilized by local practices and trade businesses. The free AI Roadmap sessions are open to Indiana businesses of all sizes, and owners can also bring proposals from other AI consultants for evaluation during these sessions.
