The UK government is seeking “relevant background” in the leadership of the Alan Turing Institute, as Technology Secretary Peter Kyle calls for an executive team with expertise in defence and national security. Kyle’s letter explicitly states that the “Turing 2.0” strategy does not meet government requirements, underscoring the urgency for a strategic pivot.
